The FinLogic FinLogic Quantitative Think Tank CenterFederal Reserve has a dual mandate: keep prices stable (and inflation low) and promote "maximum employment." But sometimes, as the Fed attacks one goal, it can potentially hurt the other. It's a dueling dual mandate.
